My account is suspended or cancelled
The "Account Suspended" and "Account Cancelled" screens, what each one says, which pages showed them, and who to email.
Quick answer. Email support@back9ops.com. Both screens say to contact Back9Ops support, and the words "Back9Ops support" on the screen are a link to that address. A trial running out is a different thing: it shows a banner, see What happens when your trial or plan ends.
Who can do this: anyone at the club can email us. We walked it as the club Admin.
Before you start
We walked this on the demo club, at desktop width, on a made-up club that we suspended, then cancelled, then deleted. We did not walk what a golfer sees.
The steps
- Open Events in the left menu. On a suspended or cancelled club, this page showed the screen in place of your events. Players showed it too.
- Read the heading. It says "Account Suspended" or "Account Cancelled".
- If it says Account Suspended, the screen said: "This organization's account has been suspended. Admin features are temporarily unavailable. Contact Back9Ops support to resolve this." Under it: "Players can still view public event pages and leaderboards during this time."
- If it says Account Cancelled, the screen said: "This organization's Back9Ops account has been cancelled. All admin features are disabled. To reactivate, contact Back9Ops support."
- Press Back9Ops support on the screen, or write to support@back9ops.com yourself. Say your club's name and which heading you see.
What you should see
One of the two headings with a line naming Back9Ops support, on Events and on Players.
If it goes wrong
- The Dashboard still opens. We saw this on the suspended club and on the cancelled one. It showed the club's name and the getting-started steps. Events and Players still showed the screen, so start with the email, not the Dashboard.
- The screen names a plan or a date instead. That is a trial or a plan ending, not a suspension. See What happens when your trial or plan ends.
- You want to know how long it will take. The screens give no time. Neither do we here.
Director's tip
This one is our advice, not a rule of the app. If you have an event coming up, say its date in your email.
