Help
Most problems are fixed in a step or two. Start with the question that matches yours. If none of them do, email us at the bottom of this page — a real person answers.
The app signed me out
This is normal after we update Back9Ops, and nothing has been lost. Your scores, events and leagues are all still there, waiting for you.
What to do: sign in again with the same email address and password you always use. That is all it takes.
If you were partway through scoring a round when it happened, open the round again — the scores you already entered are saved.
Sign inI forgot my password, or mine stopped working
Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen. We email you a code, you pick a new password, and you are back in.
If the email does not arrive: check your junk or spam folder first. If it still is not there, the address you typed may not be the one your club has on file for you — email us and we will tell you which address to use.
Reset my passwordToo many sign-in attempts
If you have typed the wrong password several times, we lock the account for a few minutes to keep it safe. Nothing is broken and you do not need to do anything — wait a few minutes and try again.
I scanned a QR code on a cart or scorecard
You do not need an account and you do not need to download anything. Scanning the code opens your group, you tap your name, and you can score.
If you closed it by accident: scan the same code again. Your round is exactly where you left it.
My scores are not showing on the leaderboard
Scores appear as they are entered. If the course has no signal where you are standing, the app keeps your scores on your phone and sends them the moment you get a bar back — so keep playing and keep scoring.
If a score still looks wrong after your round, tell your organizer or league commissioner. They can correct any score.
Getting the app
Back9Ops is free for players on iPhone and Android. You can also use everything in a web browser without installing anything.

Write to sales@back9ops.com and tell us what happened. It helps if you include your name, your club or league, and roughly when the problem started — but write as little or as much as you like, we will take it from there.
