Your club and your people
Your account, your courses and who can do what.
For club admins
- Who can do what in your club Admin, Organizer and Front Desk each see different buttons. This is the list, plus how to find your own role and what to do when a button is missing.
- Why can't I see a menu or button? A menu item or a button is missing, or a page says you cannot open it. How to tell whether it is your role or your club's plan, and who can fix it.
- Add someone to your club Invite a person by email and pick their role. Someone who already has an account joins at once. Someone new gets a link that works for 7 days.
- I got an invitation link: now what? A club invited you by email. Here is what the invitation page shows, what to press, how long the link lasts, and why it can say "Invitation Unavailable" even after you are in.
- Add a player by hand, and fix one Put one golfer on your club's list with a name, an optional email and handicap, and a checkbox that sends an invite. Then open their page to fix a handicap, send an invite later, or deactivate them.
- Counter staff with no email Add the people who work your counter by name, give each a 4-digit code, and turn the counter device into the front desk. No email or password for anyone.
- Turn on the sign-in code Add one extra step to your own club login. After your password, Back9Ops emails you a 6-digit code to type in. How to turn it on, what signing in looks like, and how to turn it off.
- Add your course, tees and holes Add a course to your club, give it a tee set with its rating and slope, and fill in each hole's par and yards. Do this once, and every tee sheet, event and club page can use the course.
- Map your greens for yardages Mark the front, center and back of each green on a satellite map, once, so golfers see distances to the green while they play. Here is how to open the map, mark a green and save it.
- Your club's public page and TV board Fill in what golfers see at your club's public link, pick a colour, say hello, and choose which sections show and in what order. Also where the club-wide TV board lives and what it shows when nothing is live.
- See who changed what (the audit log) A list of recent changes in your club, newest first, with who made each one and when. Where to find it, how to read a row, and what it does not show.
- Download all your club's data One button on the club's Settings page gives you a ZIP file of your players, tee sheets, events, scores, league standings and messages that opens in Excel or Google Sheets. What is in it, what is not, and who can press it.
