My scores aren’t showing
You entered scores with the QR code and they are not where you expect. The screens we saw when scoring is not open yet, when the event is finished, and where to look next.
Quick answer. First look at what the scorecard page says at the top. If it says scoring is not open or the event is finalized, the page is not taking new scores. The scores already saved were still on the card we opened. Ask your organizer. If you lost signal, read I lost signal on the back nine.
Who can do this: anyone holding the card. No account needed.
Before you start
This is about scoring with the QR code on your card, not with an account. Scoring without an account is the normal way in. We walked this on a phone-sized screen. We did not walk anything in the phone app.
The steps
- Scan the code again. The landing page shows the event’s name, "YOU’RE SCORING AS:" and the name on your card. If the name is not yours, the page says "Not you? Ask the organizer for your scorecard QR code."
- Read the line under the name. It tells you the state of the card:
- A button, Start Scoring, means the card is open. Press it.
- "Scoring isn’t open right now. Check with your organizer." means the organizer has not opened scoring. The View Scorecard button next to it did not respond when we tried to press it.
- "This event has been finalized. Scores are read-only." means the event is over. Press View Scorecard to read what was saved.
- On a finished card, read the lock line. The card showed "🔒 This scorecard is final — scores are locked. Ask your organizer if something needs to change." Each player’s score for the hole stayed on the screen, and at the bottom the card said "Round complete!" and "All 18 holes entered." with a See Leaderboard button.
- Look at the right hole. The page shows one hole at a time, for example "18 / 18 holes", with ← Prev and Next →. View full card shows all of them.
What you should see
Your saved scores on the card, even when the page will not take new ones.
If it goes wrong
- The page says "Scoring isn’t open right now." Wait for your organizer to open scoring. Nothing on your side opens it.
- The page says "This event has been finalized." The organizer has closed the event. You cannot add or change a score from this page. Ask the organizer, as the page says.
- You lost signal while scoring. I lost signal on the back nine shows what the page said while scores were held and when they went through.
- The page will not open at all. The QR code won’t open shows the messages we saw.
- You closed the page by mistake. Back to my round after closing the page.
- The scores are on the card but not on the leaderboard. We did not walk this one. Tell the organizer what the card shows and what the leaderboard shows. See the leaderboard and where you stand shows the leaderboard page.
Director's tip
This one is our advice, not a rule of the app. Before the round, scan one card yourself and make sure it says Start Scoring. If it says scoring is not open, you have time to fix it.
