Tee sheet and Front Desk
Working the tee sheet and the Front Desk, shift by shift.
For pro-shop staff and club admins
- Your first shift at the counter What the Front Desk screen offers when you start working the counter, and what to press for a tee time, an event sign-up, a league, a new player or a reprinted scorecard.
- Signing in at the station At the counter device, tap your name and then your 4-digit code. There is no email and no password. It also covers what to do when the counter asks again, or says too many tries.
- Set up your tee sheet Tell the sheet which days you are open, when the first and last groups tee off, and how far apart the times run. Do it once for each course, then change it any time from Sheet settings.
- Open the day's sheet Find today's tee times, change the day or the course, and see at a glance how full the day is and when the next open time is. Use it at the start of a shift or when a golfer asks what is open.
- Book, move and cancel a tee time Put a golfer or a group on a tee time, move them to another time, or cancel the booking. It covers the Put it back button and what happens to the spots.
- Check a group in Mark a group as arrived when they get to the counter, undo it if you pressed the wrong booking, and record who turned up for a time that has passed.
- Print the day's sheet Put the day's bookings on one page for the starter, with names, group sizes and phone numbers. It shows when the paper was printed, so you can tell whether a later booking is missing.
- End-of-day reports Read the day's rounds, groups, no-shows and cancellations on one short page, see where the bookings came from, and take the detail home as a spreadsheet.
- Print a QR card for the counter Print a card with a QR code for the pro shop counter. Golfers point a phone camera at it and land on your club page, or on your booking page once online booking is on. Cart signs for an event are a different page.
- Let golfers book online Turn on your public booking page, choose how far ahead golfers can book, and see what a golfer sees when they book. This covers booking only. We did not walk paying online, so this article says nothing about it.
- A golfer's booking link You booked a tee time on a club's page. Here is how to use the link in your confirmation to change the number of players, move to another time, add the tee time to your calendar or cancel it.
