Print the flyer
One sheet for the pro shop window and the bulletin board, with a code golfers scan to sign up. Here is how to open it, what is on it, how to print it, and why a golfer who scans it may see "not found".
Quick answer. The flyer is a one-sheet poster for your event: the club's name, the event's name and date, the course and tees, the entry fee, and a code golfers scan with their phone to sign up. On the event page, find the box called Share This Event and press Open & Print Flyer. It opens in a new tab. Look it over, then press Print Flyer at the top. Open sign-ups first, or a golfer who scans the code will not get in.
Who can do this: an Admin or an Organizer sees Share This Event on the event page. This was walked as an Admin.
Before you start
Open sign-ups before you print. While the event is a Draft, you can open the flyer, and it looks perfect. A golfer who scans the code on it, signed out, sees "Event not found or not yet published."
The flyer prints only what you have filled in. The field size shows if you set a limit. The fee shows if there is one. Register by shows if you set a deadline. Questions shows if your club has a phone number or an email on file. You set the limit in Set up your event in four steps. The fee and the deadline are in the Event Details box on the event page: press Edit, as Your event's home base shows.
The steps
- Open the event page. Press Events in the left menu, then the event's name.
- Find Share This Event. For an event that has not started it says "Print a flyer with a QR code so golfers can self-register from their phone."
- Press Open & Print Flyer. The flyer opens in a new tab, so the event page stays where it was. A bar at the top has Back and Print Flyer. That bar does not print.
- Read it top to bottom. From the top:
- The club's name and address.
- A line with the game and the handicap rule, such as STROKE PLAY · FULL HANDICAP.
- The event's name and date.
- Boxes for WHERE (the course), TEES, FIELD and ENTRY.
- A dark band with SCAN TO REGISTER and a code, and three lines: 1 Scan this code, 2 Pick your spot, 3 You're in.
- The short link under the code, such as
…/e/74, then REGISTER BY and QUESTIONS when you have them. - LIVE SCORING · RESULTS ON YOUR PHONE at the very bottom.
- Check the sponsors. If you have added sponsors, the names or logos sit in a row above the footer. Add sponsors says how. With more than 18 shown sponsors the flyer does not list them. It prints "THANK YOU" and a line such as "Our 19 sponsors are named in full on the event page."
- Press Print Flyer. Your browser's own print window opens. Choose the printer and the paper, and print.
What you should see
Here is the flyer for a practice outing at Heron Bend Golf Club, a fictional club. The top reads HERON BEND GOLF CLUB, 400 Fairway Lane, STROKE PLAY · FULL HANDICAP, Help 4.3 Outing and SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2026. The boxes read WHERE Heron Bend, TEES White, 6,300 yards · 70.6/125, FIELD Up to 24 players and ENTRY with the event's fee per player. In the band, REGISTER BY says November 4, 2026 and QUESTIONS shows the club's phone number.
The same event with no field limit and no fee prints without the FIELD and ENTRY boxes. Nothing is left as an empty box.
If it goes wrong
- The flyer says "Event not found or not yet published." You were signed out, or the event is still a Draft. Sign in as yourself and open it from the event page. If a golfer sees this after scanning, press Open Registration on the event page and print again.
- You are not sure where the code goes. The short link under the code takes golfers to the public event page. Type it into your own phone before you print fifty copies.
- The entry fee is missing. The ENTRY box shows only when the event has a fee. Add one in Event Details on the event page (press Edit), then reopen the flyer.
- The field box is missing. FIELD shows only when the event has a limit on players, set as Max field size when you create it.
- No "Questions" line. It shows only when the club has a phone number or an email. Without one, golfers have no way to ask you from the sheet.
- A sponsor is missing. Only sponsors that are ticked Show print. See Add sponsors.
Director's tip
Hang the flyer where golfers will be bored, such as next to the cart-barn door or by the coffee. Put a pen on a string beside it for anyone who would rather tell you in person.
