Your first shift on the tee sheet

The five jobs of a tee sheet shift in order: sign in, open the day, book a group, check them in, and move or cancel when plans change. Each step points to the longer article.

Quick answer. Five jobs, in this order. Sign in. Open today's sheet. Book the golfer who is standing in front of you. Check them in when they arrive. Move or cancel if their plans change. Each one is a short article, and this page is the map.

Who can do this: Front Desk (signed in with a name and code at the counter), an Organizer or an Admin (signed in as yourself).

Before you start

The club's tee sheet has to be set up with its first and last tee times. If you open it and it says Set up your tee sheet, stop and ask your manager. An Admin sees a Set up the tee sheet button there. At the counter you will see that nobody has set the hours yet.

The steps

  1. Sign in. At the counter, tap your name and type your 4-digit code. As an Admin or Organizer, sign in as yourself. Signing in at the station has the counter version.
  2. Open the day. Press Tee Sheet, in the side menu or as a tile on the Front Desk screen. Open the day's sheet explains the row of days, the course box and the search box.
  3. Book a group. Press Book on the time they want, pick how many players, type a name and press Book it. Book, move and cancel a tee time has the whole box.
  4. Check them in. When they reach the counter, tap their booking and press Check in. Check a group in covers undoing it.
  5. Change the plan. Tap the booking, then Move to another time or Cancel booking. A move can be undone with Put it back. A cancel cannot, so ask first.
  6. End of shift. Press your name and Switch, so the next person signs in as themselves.

What you should see

A time on the sheet showing the group's name and how many golfers, with a small green check mark in front of the name once they have arrived.

If it goes wrong

  • The sheet is on the wrong course. Tap the course box at the top and choose the right one.
  • You cannot find a booking. Type the name or phone in "Find a booking — name, phone or email". It looks from today forward.
  • You booked the wrong time. Move it, then use Put it back right away if you moved it by mistake.
  • You are at the counter and cannot open Settings. The counter cannot open Settings, on purpose.
  • Everything else about the counter. Your first shift at the counter covers events, leagues and players.

Director's tip

Take your first booking on a quiet afternoon and cancel it again. It is the safest way to learn the box, and the History shows who did what.
